We are so back. Not only looking at the market and the sea of green candles but Tom is back in Blighty after his trip to the motherland. Big shouts to Griff for holding down the fort. Temperatures are starting to drop, but things are heating up in the gaming world with nostalgia from GTA VI's trailer, web3 releases around the corner, and some spicy GAM3 reactions (We at No Re love Cagy).

Gods Unchained Updates

Gods Unchained remains one of the top blockchain games by smart contract volume and they've dropped a few updates across the past week including partnerships and gameplay updates. First up, Gods Unchained has teamed up with Amazon Prime Gaming, further increasing their presence outside of the web3 world following on from their successful launch on the Epic Game Store that we reported on earlier in the year. This collaboration brings exclusive in-game content to the 200 million Amazon Prime Gaming members. Members can claim their packs as detailed in their blog post.

They have also launched Immutable Passport access, Immutable's web3 wallet that streamlines the login process. This universal gamer profile, allows players to easily access the game using familiar methods like Google, Apple, or email, but with enhanced web3 capabilities. We've talked about onboarding and user experience time and time again; the Passport reduces friction, keeping players immersed. For those who have yet to create one, an exclusive Passport Cardback is available for those who log in before December 20. This integration looks to make Gods Unchained more accessible and enjoyable, blending traditional gaming ease with the perks of asset ownership.

Immutable has been consistently pushing successful updates for Gods Unchained recently, further solidifying its place as one of the top games in web3. Sealed Mode launched two months ago and has already generated over 1.2M GODS from nearly 10k unique active players. The Tides of Fate expansion saw over 5k pack sales in the first 24 hours, totaling $220k.

Merit Circle To The Moon

MC is up 300% from the announced migration to BEAM, and BEAM is up 200% since the 1:100 split occurred in late October. Merit Circle has formed a strategic collaboration with Pantera Capital, a leading investor in the blockchain space. This partnership brings Pantera Capital on board as $BEAM holders, supporting Merit Circle in various aspects, including hiring, connecting with games, and promoting their DAO and gaming ecosystem, Beam. Merit Circle, which started in mid-2021, now boasts the largest non-native treasury in the gaming industry, surpassing major names like Uniswap and Sushiswap. It has invested in over 70 projects and launched several of its own, including Beam. This collab shows real buy in for Merit Circle's progress including the recent launch of new Beam. Pantera Capital, the first institutional investment firm focused exclusively on digital currencies and blockchain technology, manages $3.8 billion across various strategies.

It's only been about a month since the launch of the Beam subnet and the ecosystem is already moving toward interoperability. Beam has partnered with Immutable and Polygon Labs to push its multichain approach. The partnership will kick off with Sphere, envisioned as the ultimate gaming industry marketplace. Sphere will integrate parts of the Beam SDK into the Immutable and Polygon ecosystems. Utilizing Immutable's zkEVM, powered by Polygon, Sphere promises instant settlement and minimal fees, enhancing the gaming experience.

This collaboration also includes enriching the Beam product suite with features like account abstraction and a companion app, facilitating seamless gaming experiences. The partnership is seen as a significant step towards sustainable digital ownership in gaming, with the potential to transform the industry and contribute positively to the Merit Circle ecosystem. Every transaction on the marketplace, whether on Immutable zkEVM or other networks, will incur a fee, part of which will be reinvested in ecosystem growth and BEAM token buy-and-burn mechanisms.
