🟨 Another $58M in funding for web3 gaming projects and we're still not getting paid. Might be time to start pivoting to AI or double down on games.

The latest funding rounds in web3 gaming.

  • CARV ($10M). Carv, aiming to simplify data monetization for gamers, raised $10M in a Series A funding round led by Tribe Capital and IOSG Ventures.

  • GFAL ($3.3M). Web3 game startup GFAL secured $3.3M Seed Round from Mitch Lasky, Supercell, The Managing Director of ESL amongst others.

  • Patriots Division ($5M). Shadow War developer Patriots Division raised $5M in a Series A funding round from Momentum 6, Cointelligence Fund, Xborg and others.

  • Victory Chain ($40M). Animoca Brands and Delphi Digital led Victory Chain’s Series A round to support Victory’s fan controlled football ecosystem.

Who’s teaming up in the gaming world?

  • Nouns Esports x Matcha. DEX aggregator Match will be the first web3 sponsor of Nouns Esports.

  • PlayFi Gaming x MultiverseX. Multiverse X will be collaborating with PlayFi Gaming to incorporate MultiverseX infrastructure on PlayFi’s PlayBase Network.

  • Rumble Kong League x Gatorade. Avalanche’s ****Rumble Kong League unvieled a partnership with Gateroade and exclusive in-game items.

  • Solana Labs x Google Cloud. Solana Labs partnered with Google Cloud to integrate its game engine, GameShift, into Google’s services.

  • TALON Esports x Planet Mojo. TALON will develop and support launch strategies for Mojo Melee across Asia, conduct playtesting with esports players and create esports events.

  • Zentry x Beam x Sophon. Zentry is teaming up with Beam to incubate Sophon, a zkSync hyperchain optimized for AI.
