The latest funding rounds in web3 gaming.

• Inutan X. Inutan X, the development team building the web3 RPG Aria (formerly Manasis Refrain), completed a seed funding round participated in by Folius, Spartan, Merit Circle, Galaxy, Animoca, and others.

• Supervillain Labs ($4.5M). Supervillain Labs, the creators of the Idle RPG Supervillain, raised $4.5 million in a funding round co-led by Aptos Labs and Intella X and participated in by Spartan, Presto, Crit Ventures, and Planetarium Labs.

• Play AI ($4.3M). The modular AI gaming chain revealed the Play Collective alongside its seed funding raise of $4.3 million from P2 Ventures, Jump, Zentry, Tykhe Block, and MH Ventures.

• NexGami ($2.5M). The web3 and traditional competitive gaming platform raised $2.5 million in a seed round led by Metalpha and participated in by KuCoin, HTX, Ledger Capital, Tide Group, and others.

Who’s teaming up in the gaming world?

• Fio Protocol x Skale. FIO Protocol is bringing its web3 handle and “username” service to Skale as the Skale gaming ecosystem continues to expand.

• GameGPT x Saga. web3 arcade-style game developer, GameGPT announced a partnership with Saga to launch its own chainlet for its upcoming game Limitless Lanes.

• Pixelverse x Param Labs. Pixelverse is partnering with Param Labs to integrate Pixelverse IP into Param’s upcoming game Kiraverse.

• Sequence x Saltwater Games. Sequence is partnering with Saltwater Games, bringing Sequence’s development stack to the Arbitrum Orbit L3 chain XR One.

• Sequence x Xai. Sequence continues to expand its accessibility on EVM compatible blockchains with its latest partnership with Arbitrum-based gaming L3 Xai.

• CityVerse Tycoon (Base). The tycoon-style game developed by web2 game veterans OwnPlay selected Base for its upcoming launch.

• Eldarune (Immutable). Incubated by Seedify, Eldarune is an ecosystem of medieval-themed on-chain games including Heroes of Eldarune, which is available on both PC and Android.

• Engines of Fury (Immutable). EoF is a top-down extraction shooter backed by the co-founder of EA Games.

• Loot Legends (Hychain). Loot Legends is a mobile-first roguelite dungeon crawler RPG and the first game to launch on the Arbitrum L3 Hychain.

• Mythical Games x Pudgy Penguins. Mythical Games announced that they will be building a Polkadot-based mobile party game with Pudgy Penguins.

• Sappy Seals x PlayEmber (Monad). Sappy Seals and PlayEmber joined forces to create a Sappy gaming experience for the Monad testnet.

• The Last Monarchy (Skale). The Last Monarchy is a web3 strategy game combining blockchain and AI to create a civilization building game.

• ZOIDS WILD ARENA (Immutable → Ronin). Developed by ACT Games, ZOIDS WILD Arena is moving to Immutable after leaving Ronin Network about 2 months ago.
