Not going to lie to you, it’s been a week. After 16 years, we finally are getting Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, an announcement that Griff has been waiting for since he was 12 years old. Not sure where we will be in 2025 when it gets released, but I can guarantee you Griff will not be doing any work for at least a month.

If we got Metroid Prime 4 after all this time, then maybe Tom is right: football may just be coming home. But probably not though.

Anyway, it’s getting dangerously close to being Friday over here, and unlike Rashford, we at No Re aren’t going to crack under the pressure and miss in the final minutes.

• Farworld Labs ($1.75M). Farcaster-native gaming company Farworld raised $1.75M in Pre-Seed funding from Lemniscap and Variant Fund as it looks to become “Steam meets Zynga” with the launch of Farcade.

• Saltwater Games (Seed Extension). Animoca Brands joined Saltwater’s Seed SAFT Round for its XR One tokens. XR will be integrated into the Mocaverse ecosystem.

• Sidus (Unknown). The multi-genre gaming ecosystem received a strategic investment from DWF Labs following the successful completion of its closed beta for MMORPG Sidus Heroes.
